Flowers

Hi everyone!  I has been FOREVER since I posted anything!  I am trying to get back on the saddle after my basement flooded.  My craft room was totally under water and I lost a lot of stuff but I am slowly getting back into action!  I moved my craft room to other side of the basement and I really like it a lot better where it is.  Once I have the finishing touches done I will post some pictures.

Now, onto my card.  I am posting this card "just because" no challenges or contest.  I just love this Magnolia stamp, I love the way that the flowers seem to overtake Tilda.  I painted her with Distress Inks.  The designer paper is oh so gorgeous, it is from My Minds Eye. I added little touches of lace and flowers to complete the look.

I hope you enjoyed today's post.  I was great seeing you again!

Lisa

I really love your card, the peach colors are so pretty. Tilda is colored perfectly and the flowers are so complimentary to her. I hope you are not too stressed out with your basement.

Absolutely beautiful card. I love the softness of it. As for your basement flooding, that is a nightmare of mine! My craft room is upstairs, but there was a point before my husband died that we talked about finishing half of our basement and moving it down there. I'm sorry you lost so much of your wonderful crafty stuff!
